Public Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement Lead

Working in the consumer travel industry - this is a high-impact, strategic and hands-on role combining stakeholder engagement, communications, and public affairs.

In Brief - You will:
Stakeholder Engagement & Public Affairs

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both senior and external key stakeholders 

Communications & Engagement Strategy

• Develop and deliver a tailored communications and engagement strategy for the rollout of this specific project

Campaigns & Communications Delivery

• Develop and manage marketing briefs and oversee creative direction

You’ll be a confident communicator and influencer with experience operating in complex environments. You will bring:

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or public affairs within a consumer passenger travel industry eg Airlines, Passenger Transport (Rail or Bus) or Travel Operator
• A track record of influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
• Strong experience developing and delivering communications and engagement strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (briefing, copywriting, presentations)
• Experience working with government departments, regulators, or industry bodies
• Strong political awareness and sound judgement in high-profile or sensitive situations
• Confidence representing programmes in external and public-facing settings
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment
