This organisation is a growing UK animal charity.

The role is fully remote (within the UK), agile, and low on bureaucracy, with a strong emphasis on trust, autonomy, and impact. Storytelling is at the heart of what they do, and there is a powerful, authentic story to tell.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on Digital Marketing role with real ownership and visibility.
You’ll take responsibility for the charity’s entire digital presence, combining strategy with execution. This is not a role where digital is outsourced — you’ll be doing the work as well as shaping the direction.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Owning all digital channels: website, email, and social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Leading the delivery of a new website build
  • Creating and managing content across channels, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency
  • Using analytics to optimise performance and inform decision-making
  • Supporting communications with donors, partners, corporates and volunteers
  • Working closely with fundraising and senior stakeholders to support income growth
Please note - the salary range is £35,000-38,000.  Whilst mainly working remotely, you may be required to attend key events during the year.

YOU

This role would suit someone who enjoys owning digital end-to-end and is comfortable working autonomously in a small, fast-moving organisation.
You might be a great fit if you:
  • Have strong digital marketing experience (commercial, tech or charity backgrounds welcome)
  • Are confident managing websites, email, and social channels hands-on
  • Enjoy working with data and analytics to improve performance
  • Are comfortable balancing strategy with delivery
  • Can work with sensitivity and responsibility around storytelling and brand trust
  • Don’t need lots of layers of approval and enjoy making decisions
  • Are resident in the UK
Charity experience is not essential - in fact, commercial or subscription-led backgrounds are very welcome. What matters most is digital capability, judgement, and a genuine interest in the mission.
