Fascinating opportunity for an analyst with interest in research and analysis in Africa who has experience of delivering highly analytical reports.

THE ROLEAs Research Analyst in the Africa Business Unit you will be providing a support role that is task-based i.e. data checking, charting, reporting. In more detail you will be:-
- involved in data analysis and drafting and follow-up of research products on developments across the countries of focus
- supporting the project team in the design of research materials e.g. in-depth interview guide design, open-source process, as well as project administration
- interpretation of findings from multiple research methods - including quantitative opinion polling, media monitoring and social listening, open-source insights etc
- identifying gaps in knowledge - and design alternative approaches to tackle these gaps
- supporting senior staff with report writing, developing a clear writing style and communicating research findings in a clear and concise language.
YOUWe're looking for candidates with the following experience:-
- excellent analytical and report-writing skills, with a high attention to detail (Essential)
- additional data analysis skills and software experience e.g. PowerBI, OSINT skills are a definite advantage
- previous research experience with some focus on an international setting, ideally Africa
- fluency in French, Spanish or Arabic would be helpful
- immediate or near immediate availability for a 12 month FTC
This business is looking for 2 people to join them on a 12 month FTC basis, ideally to start asap. You'll need to be in the office on a 2 days per week basis (central London).
You must be fluent in English and have the right to work in the UK.
