ABOUT THE ROLE
What you'll be doing

• Secure high-level interviews, meetings, and roundtables with politicians, regulators, and key stakeholders across Westminster and devolved governments
• Build strong relationships with MPs, local authority leaders, and industry bodies
• Support the development and delivery of the overarching public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy
• Prepare high-quality briefing papers and meeting materials for the senior leadership team
• Advise internal senior stakeholders and subject matter experts on key public affairs matters
• Monitor housing policy changes and translate complex regulations into clear communications
• Navigate critical industry topics including Building Safety, Later Living, Energy Reform, and Commonhold
• Act as a central bridge between corporate communications, political correspondence, and business teams.

ABOUT YOU
What we're looking for

• Proven public affairs or corporate communications experience gained within an agency, in-house, or political environment
• Strong understanding of or genuine interest in housing policy, property management, and regulatory developments
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences
• Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or politically charged topics within regulated sectors
• A proactive, autonomous approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and advise at the executive level.
