Exciting opportunity to build a modern marketing function and help drive the next chapter of growth for an ambitious technology business.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is an established international technology business with more than 30 years of experience developing specialist solutions for enterprise environments. As the business enters its next phase of growth, it is looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function, helping evolve the organisation from a product-led manufacturer to a solutions-focused technology partner. This is a perm role with hybrid working out of their London or Devon based offices.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Head of Marketing you'll take ownership of the entire marketing function. You'll define the strategy, build the plan and deliver it, taking marketing from an agency-led model to an effective in-house capability that supports sales growth, channel partners and long-term commercial success.

Initially, this is a standalone role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll have significant visibility across the business, working closely with leadership, product management, engineering and sales teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy
  • Lead product marketing, positioning and go-to-market activity
  • Translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling customer messaging
  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, content, social, email and events
  • Support and enable channel partners, distributors and resellers with effective marketing programmes and collateral
  • Improve lead generation and marketing contribution to revenue growth
  • Develop case studies, customer stories, product content and thought leadership materials
  • Manage product launches and product lifecycle communications
  • Oversee website development, brand evolution and digital performance
  • Manage external agencies and specialist suppliers where appropriate
  • Measure, analyse and report on campaign performance and ROI

ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced B2B marketer who enjoys creating structure, driving change and making things happen. You'll ideally have:
  • Proven experience in a senior B2B marketing role
  • Strong product marketing experience
  • The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • Experience of working with sales, product and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, SEO tools and CRM systems
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
