An established and growing B2B Industrial business is looking for a Head of Commercial to play a key role in the next phase of growth.
About the Role Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the senior leadership team, the Head of Commercial role is pivotal in shaping commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and profitability, and strengthening the business’s end to end commercial capability.
What you’ll be doing • Leading the commercial function across category management, supply chain, supplier relationships and marketing
• Developing and delivering commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, margin improvement and new market opportunities
• Strengthening own brand product strategy, new product development and supplier partnerships
• Driving performance through clear targets, commercial reporting and stronger decision making
• Working closely with manufacturing partners and supporting a supply chain that is commercially effective and ethically sound
• Leading pricing, contract negotiation and broader commercial risk management
• Partnering cross functionally with finance, operations and leadership to support wider business strategy
• Leading and developing supply chain, category and marketing teams, building accountability and high performance
What we’re looking for
This is an opportunity for a hands on commercial leader from a B2B industrial or manufacturing background who can operate strategically while staying close to delivery, bringing structure, pace and accountability. You'll have;
• Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, ideally as Head of Commercial or in a broader commercial leadership position
• Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability
• Experience leading category, supply chain and marketing functions
• Experience in own brand product strategy, product development and ideally Far East sourcing
• Strong negotiation, analytical and commercial decision making skills
• A collaborative leadership style, with the credibility to influence across the business
• Resilience, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a growing, evolving environment
