We’re looking for a Content & SEO Writer to support delivery of optimised content for organic growth to drive engagement and conversion for a higher education client.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will focus on Degree or Masters programmes in HIGHER EDUCATION or eLEARNING for professional development.  Only candidates with experience in these areas can be considered.  

You’ll work closely with the SEO Manager to develop a range of optimised content, helping to increase search visibility, drive traffic and support lead generation.  

By nature you will be someone who needs little or no support and is well versed in SEO content. 

The role will focus on content production, SEO optimisation and content updates. 

• Write high-quality SEO focused content for the website, articles, thought leadership, social and email
• Apply on-page SEO best practice
• Work within tools such as Surfer SEO (or similar) to optimise content
• Refine and improve content based on performance insights and feedback
• Support updates and improvements to existing SEO content
• Identify and implement quick wins to improve rankings and performance
• Ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned to current priorities
• The role is paying upto £280 per day PAYE incl holiday pay and is for 20-30 hours per week for 2-3 months on a remote basis.  This role has an immediate start. 

ABOUT YOU
Only candidates who are immediately available with experience Degree or Masters programmes in HIGHER EDUCATION or eLEARNING for professional development can be considered for this role. 

Essential experience:

• Experience in SEO content writing, including producing articles designed to rank in search
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO principles and search intent
• Experience working from structured SEO briefs
• Experience using Surfer SEO or a similar optimisation tool
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging content at pace
• Ability to manage multiple pieces of work in parallel and deliver to deadlines
