THE COMPANYThis amazing charity supports those living on the streets with their pets providing much needed care and treatment.
THE ROLEReporting into the Head of Marketing & Fundraising, you will be part of a small and dynamic team providing much needed guidance and support to deliver a varied fundraising programme.
This is a broad and varied role, with a particular focus on
community fundraising, challenge events and supporter stewardship. You will build strong relationships with fundraisers, major donors and corporate partners, creating thoughtful and personalised supporter journeys that encourage long term engagement with the charity.
Community fundraising and supporter stewardship are the biggest responsibilities in this role. You will be guiding supporters through their efforts to generate much needed income with both national and international challenger events. Specifically this will involve design of personalised supporter journeys, communications and regular engagement touchpoints.
Day to day you will also be responsible for the following:
- Manage fundraising enquiries and maintain accurate supporter records in Salesforce.
- Plan and deliver fundraising campaigns, events and partnership activity.
- Work closely with marketing and digital colleagues to create integrated campaigns across email, social media and the website.
- Support the growth of individual giving, regular giving and legacy fundraising.
- Prepare tailored proposals, partnership materials and grant applications.
- Monitor fundraising income, expenditure, pipelines and campaign performance.
- Use data and insight to improve supporter experience, retention and return on investment.
- Produce clear fundraising reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
YOUThis role requires candidates to have had hands on charity experience.
- Experience in community, challenge-event, corporate partnerships, major-donor or relationship-led fundraising.
- A strong understanding of donor and fundraiser stewardship.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to tell compelling stories for different audiences and channels.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and campaign-management skills.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Confidence managing fundraising data, supporter records and reporting.
- The ability to build warm, credible and long-term external relationships.
- A willingness to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
You must be fluent in English and have the right to work in the UK.
