ABOUT THE ROLEWhat you'll be doing
- Deliver ownership of well-scoped BD projects and sector-led initiatives to drive firm growth
- Support priority sectors like FinTech and Civil Fraud by executing business plans and measuring ROI
- Develop a more formal and effective referrer network in collaboration with the Head of BD
- Create targeting pipelines and client profiles to strengthen prospective client engagement
- Advise partners and senior lawyers as a trusted commercial consultant to drive momentum on key priorities
- Collaborate across departments to identify overlapping opportunities and influence relationship-building
- Coordinate with marketing colleagues to ensure all activity is aligned with firm-wide objectives.

ABOUT YOUWhat we're looking for
- Proven experience in a Business Development Manager or equivalent role within a professional services environment (legal strongly preferred)
- Demonstrable ability to manage and deliver complex BD initiatives independently and at pace
- Strong gravitas and credibility with senior stakeholders, including partners
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to scope, prioritise, and deliver work with minimal supervision
- Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of partnership dynamics and law firm decision-making
- Outstanding communication skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence effectively
Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with a strong bias towards delivery
