Our client is a publicly listed healthcare company focused on developing and commercialising innovative products for patients and consumers in a specialised field. They are on a growth trajectory, having commercialised their first product in key markets, and are now preparing new products for market entry. You would join an international team and be relied upon to deliver consistent results to tight deadlines.

THE ROLE

The Head of Communications will be responsible for the narrative presentation of company and product brands, developing and managing brands. - communications materials - engagement campaigns, including media liaison and briefing, internal communications and patient relations - key messaging - events management. - external communications contracts, inc. social media brand ambassadors - digital marketing analysis and online advertising campaigns - distil complex technical topics into clear, accessible narratives for a range of audiences and media - lead junior and mid-career communications staff to deliver projects in a high-pressure environment.

YOU

Your experience will include: - Extensive communications work within or alongside a range of companies, or with a singular entity for an intensive and extensive period - Work within or alongside a publicly listed company, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical space - Leading functional teams across multiple locations, inc. mentoring junior staff - The development of communications campaigns, including writing media releases, Annual Reports, and social media content, building digital advertising campaigns and facilitating media liaison - The development of existing and new brand narratives, working closely with senior creative staff - Stakeholder engagement, including as a company spokesperson with traditional and online press and patient or consumer groups - Working with luxury and complex brands to make technical concepts accessible and desirable - Developing and improving systems to ensure compliance within a technical field - Successful delivery of new brands and products to audiences on a global scale - Delivering high end events and experiences - Managing multiple ongoing projects (some long-term) while ensuring a consistency of narrative - A background in copywriting, journalism or corporate stakeholder management You will have an entrepreneurial mindset, understanding the needs of a growing business and of its management to work across levels within the organisation.
