Experienced Ecommerce Manager needed for a 6 month contract (initially) with a premium retail brand. Potential to go perm.

THE COMPANY
Our client is an outdoor apparel and marine adventure brand. Designing and building iconic and sustainable products for life’s greatest adventures.

THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity to join the business at an early stage, as part of a small, dedicated team, the Ecommerce Manager will lead on all website and ecommerce activities, including site planning, user experience, sales & analytics, reporting & CRM management, system development and maintenance.

You will:
- Manage the transactional ecommerce day to day operation
- Focus on customer journey, user experience and customer conversion funnels
- Identify new areas to drive and optimise conversion
- Lead on new product creation, updates, prices, category management etc
- Use data analytics and insight tools to analyse performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor and report against target, taking actions for negative variances
- Run and present reports on a weekly & monthly basis, sharing insights and actions
- Work closely with the Marketing & Social Media teams to develop a seamless user experience
- Provide back up in fulfilling customer orders, which may extend to dispatch & returns processing

This role is based in Central London with 4 days per week in the office. 

YOU
The successful candidate for this Ecommerce Manager role will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role in an online retail environment.

You must also have:

- Shopify system management experience
- Experience in launching new product ranges
- Experience in working with CRM Platforms eg Klaviyo & Hubspot
- Knowledge and experience of SEO
- Ability to manipulate and analyse data, including proficiency with Google Analytics

The following would also be desirable:

- Previous experience working in startups
- Exposure to luxury, high performance products and / or the adventure sector
- An interest in sustainability
- An interest in related topics such as digital marketing, photography, videography, graphic design, ocean research, conservation, adventure and outdoor activities
