An exciting opportunity for an ecommerce expert to join a global beauty and cosmetics business.


Our client began as a pioneer using natural ingredients for its cosmetic products. Now, with over 40 years of experience, they offer over 900 skincare, make-up, haircare and body products inspired by nature.


The Ecommerce Lead will be responsible for the delivery of the Northern Europe ecommerce merchandising calendar, personalisation strategy and conversion optimisation roadmap, with the objective of creating a seamless, integrated and personalised customer experience.

You will play a critical part in the ongoing digital transformation of the business, building expertise and capability within the team and the wider global business. You will champion ecommerce across the business, providing global expertise and leadership.

As a leader within the digital business, you will also be responsible for, coaching and inspiring a team of ecommerce experts, whilst supporting the delivery of 10% of all ecommerce revenues globally (£15m+ p.a.).


The successful candidate will be an experienced leader who has in-depth, working knowledge of personalisation and conversion rate optimisation techniques, and experience working in a scaled, omnichannel environment across multiple geographies.

You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable building stakeholder relationships at all levels. You’ll also need to be numerate, analytical and data-driven with experience of developing complex testing programmes.

An understanding of the full technology stack required to run an ecommerce business from front-end and cms technologies, payment systems and ERP systems.

A second European language is desirable, but not essential.
