THE COMPANY My client are a global Saas company who are leaders in their field. This is an exciting time to join as they have recently acquired a new business in the online elections space. This is a remote first role but you must be able to get to their offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota when needed and you must be based in the US with full rights to work in the US.
THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying relevant market segments, nurturing networks and referrals and pursuing new business opportunities. Responsibilities will include.
- Proactively pursuing new business opportunities to expand the US client base
- Identifying potential clients and initiating contact, implementing strategies to convert leads
- Cultivating and maintaining strong lasting relationships with new clients
- Understanding clients’ goals and tailoring offerings to meet those specific needs
- Utilizing existing client portfolio to offer an additional solution and cross selling or upselling those solutions
- Developing and presenting proposals to meet clients’ needs
- Keep accurate records of interactions, sales activities and BD efforts as well as prepare regular reports on metrics
YOU To be successful in this role you’ll have a background in B2B Saas ideally in the online election space or experience of targeting membership organisations, universities or not for profits. You’ll have an enterprising spirit and enjoy working in a collaborative culture as well as.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and account management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A strong problem solving and customer centric approach
