Competency Based Questions

You did it! You got the interview! Now for the pesky questions…

Competency-based questions: you know, those 'describe a time when you had to…', 'give me an example of how…', 'tell me about a situation…' There's no doubt about it, they're tricky questions that can often lead to an embarrassing pause in proceedings.

It's your individual experience and unique approach that they want to hear about - there's no right or wrong answer. But it can be difficult to think on your feet and quickly come up with good examples in an interview scenario, so preparation is incredibly important.

Our people have helped thousands of people just like you to succeed in interview situations and go on to get the career opportunities they deserve.
