A message from Claire - Our Owner & Founder

Not knowing what the future holds is a very scary prospect and right now we are all trying to second guess what's around the corner. I know there must be many, many people extremely worried about job security and the financial implications of Coronavirus – Covid 19 for them, their colleagues and the businesses they work for. 

Over the last 2 days we've experienced first hand two very different client approaches; One had to withdraw an offer, after the candidate had resigned, due to their business being adversely affected by many people working from home. The other made an offer to a candidate because they felt the only way to survive the crisis is to be proactive and to engage with / market to their customers - they're setting the candidate up to work remotely from day 1.

The whole team at Stopgap are set up for remote working and are here to help clients and candidates alike. I very much hope that as many businesses as possible will follow the path of the second client and keep their marketing teams active.

We've been supporting the marketing world for 27 years and I have no intention of us abandoning you now.  I know business is going to be tough for most of us and if it is helpful to spread your recruitment costs over a 6 month period, no problem just ask and we'll do this for you.
