Understanding of how to work with licences can also be important, as is understanding routes to market. This sector is always looking for a marketers with a distinct digital specialism and strong traditional skills including: SEO/PPC, web analytics, online content, social media and affiliate marketing, acquisition, retention and CRM, database partnerships, campaign management, channel marketing and insights, PR, internal communications, analysts, licensee specialists and marketing researchers.
