I’m here to lead and develop a team of talented consultants, to ensure they are happy, equipped, supported in their day-to-day work.
Whilst I loved the creative challenge of heading up a team who marketed to diverse cultures around the world, I was more fascinated by people and behaviour than product. So I moved into recruitment at Stopgap in 2000. Since then I’ve headed up HR, Operations, recruited at Executive level, and led teams in all areas of marketing and industry. I’ve been part of the leadership team for many years, and am still as excited about helping my team to find great candidates for our clients, and looking for new ways to develop our business.
I’ve got more interests and hobbies than I know what to do with! My passion is for travelling and creativity. Whilst I‘ve covered all corners of the globe, from the Galapagos to Borneo, Japan to India, the more I travel the more I realise there’s more to experience, especially when it comes to nature and wildlife. My creativity is channeled through clothes design and making, gardening and furniture renovation and when I can escape from the city, I love to escape to the coast and country at weekends.
When I joined Stopgap in 2000 I promised I’d only work here whilst I really enjoyed what I did. And I’m still here and have a lot to be grateful for in the way I’ve been challenged and treated by truly remarkable people along the way.
I’ve yet to see all the wild small cats – so will have to by a bigger zoom lens to capture them in future!
