I handle all queries connected to the Stopgap terms and conditions and also review/negotiate any client terms. Process our Ltd company contractors and supplier invoicing. Manage the smooth running of the Stopgap Group’s property business, dealing with tenants and our service contractors.
My duties and responsibilities have expanded year on year since working for Stopgap to include many threads. I look after the contractual parts of our business, be that supporting consultants on the finer points of the Stopgap terms, to negotiating with clients on their own terms where these are being used. I help as one quarter of the finance team with all things financey and get involved in special projects that come up, particularly where there are legislative changes.
I have played the drums since I was 12 years old and have been in a number of bands over the years, recording an album with Sequoia/Andy Stedman, released on our own label. I play guitar and perform locally at open mic events. I love movies and story and have written three screenplays. I recently completed my first novel and am looking for a literary agent to help me get this published. I have lived locally in Twickenham for over twenty years and love the area. Richmond is an excellent location, especially with its access to the river and the convenient town centre.
Stopgap is a unique place, unlike any other company I have worked for. The sense of friendship and teamwork is at the heart of its culture and this is genuine and treasured by all staff. Our famous away-days are like going on holiday with your extended family, with all the fun and sense of adventure that comes with it.
I also worked as a location assistant for a ‘Ruth Rendell Mysteries’ production. The final gig with the Andy Stedman band was at the club 93 Feet East in Brick Lane, publicity shot attached.
