I manage permanent and freelance roles within the retail and hospitality industries – everything from large global brands to small, up-and-coming businesses.
Whilst studying for a degree in French Studies, I moved to Paris for a year where I worked in a bilingual recruitment agency – conducting telephone interviews in English and French (scary!) and supporting the consultants. Upon graduating, I joined Stopgap as a Junior Consultant where they have been developing my skills and experience ever since!
When I’m not working, I can be found eating and drinking with friends and family and then doing any form of exercise I can to burn it all off – whether that’s running, spinning or working with Stopgap’s very own personal trainer! I can also be found planning my next trip away – I’m determined to visit as many countries as possible before I turn 30 (22 countries and counting…!)
I knew within 5 minutes of my interview that Stopgap was where I wanted to be. Other recruitment companies were only interested in my sales experience and how quickly I could close a deal. Stopgap actually wanted to find out more about me – an approach that we pass on to our candidates.
On most weekends I can now be found in the Itchen stand of St Mary’s Stadium supporting Southampton Football Club (and antagonising the away fans!)
