I currently have two areas of responsibility. Firstly, recruiting under the Stopgap Executive brand for CMO, VP Marketing and Marketing Director roles in the consumer products sector, especially FMCG, leisure, travel, hospitality and consumer electronics. Secondly, I am here to support our Clients across all aspects of their marketing recruitment specifically with regard to our range of services and cost effective marketing recruitment solutions.
As an account manager working for global advertising and communications agencies my role was to deliver highly-creative and cost-effective solutions to my Clients on time and within budget. I worked across a variety of different categories ranging from IT to FMCG. Now I am applying these skills within Stopgap helping our customers find the best Partnership solution to fit their needs in order to find the right candidates to fill their vacancies.
A passionate if somewhat “average” tennis player, a seaside lover, a casual walker, a food fascist with a desperately sad addiction to Michelin starred restaurants, an avid watcher of crime and comedy programmes and a time-dependent-reader of novels. I love animals but can’t stand all those cat videos on Facebook – it's like ODing on sugar – yet I still watch them!
After an exciting and stimulating career in advertising I luckily found a second, equally stimulating and vibrant career in recruitment – helping people with their careers. I am very lucky.
Especially around the reduction of single-use plastics and their impact on the environment. Living by the sea has made me very aware of the dramatic increase of these plastics over the last 10 years and I feel, at last, the rest of the world is starting to take it seriously too.
