Are you an outstanding communicator who would like to join a company that’s, well, positively different? Fancy making a real contribution to the smooth-running of the business? Then this role supporting two of our key teams could be just the job for you!
Based in Richmond, Surrey, the Stopgap Group is the UK’s leading independent marketing and HR recruitment specialist, providing clients and candidates alike with a positively different experience of marketing and HR recruitment. Dealing with different people every single day, you’ll form a key part of our recruitment team, supporting 4 Consultants. Duties include:
* Shaping the first stage of relationship-building with candidates by sending job specs through to them and following up with a phone call
* Providing Consultants with candidate information and all the materials they require to interview
* Liaising with both candidates and clients to arrange interviews
* Assisting candidate interview preparation by ensuring that candidates have all the necessary information ahead of their interviews with our clients
* Managing our client-specific online recruitment portals to ensure a seamless flow of information between Consultants and clients
* Verifying candidates by obtaining references via email
* Celebrating our candidates’ success by arranging gifts where appropriate
* Acting as the team’s backbone by picking up telephone calls for other members, covering their emails and responding to client and candidate enquiries where you can.
Although background experience isn’t the be all and end all for this role, you’ll have worked in an office environment before and have acquired sound admin skills as a result. You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing with people at all levels and possess:
* A strong service ethic with a natural understanding of how to deliver excellent customer service
* The ability to multi-task and a real attention to detail – both in verbal communication and written communications – emails, database entries etc.
* Excellent time management – the ability to ensure work gets delivered against tight timeframes!
* The willingness to go the extra mile and ensure work gets done well
* An ability to work well under pressure and to use your initiative
